The 31st edition of the SCOPIGNO CUP World Football Tournament Under 17 started this afternoon at 3.30 pm with the opening match which took place in Rieti at the Scopigno Stadium. Touching moments with the presence of the families of three boys from Rieti who disappeared in the 2009 earthquake in L’Aquila Luca Lunari, Michela Rossi and Valentina Orlandi.
Emotions with the Italian anthem sung by Silvia Costanzi and the Rieti Opera Ensemble Group.
To kick off, the mascot Nicholas Graziani together with Renzo Ulivieri, president of the Italian Football Coaches Association, in Rieti for the conference in collaboration with AIAC LAZIO “Football today: new technical-tactical horizons”.
The International Exhibition of Art and Painting was also inaugurated this morning as part of the collateral initiatives of the tournament.
Lazio won the Rome – Lazio derby at the end of a hard-fought match, taking the lead through Trifelli. At the end of the game, under the banner of the values of sport and brotherhood, a photo together for the two teams, together with the organizers.
